Ce dernier est destin\u00e9 \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la connaissance de la situation m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique et vient en appui aux contr\u00f4leurs a\u00e9riens pour la mise en place de mesures de mitigation ou de r\u00e9gulation du trafic.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre des activit\u00e9s <a href=\"https:\/\/fracs.aero\/fr\/2020\/03\/25\/met-enhanced-atfcm-un-outil-de-rd-dedie-a-la-convection-par-fracs-et-metsafe\/\">MET Enhanced ATFCM<\/a>, projet SESAR Engage d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en \u00e9troite collaboration avec les contr\u00f4leurs du centre en-route de Reims (CRNA Est), l\u2019\u00e9quipe s\u2019est concentr\u00e9e sur la fourniture d\u2019informations de convection pr\u00e9cises pour l\u2019ATFCM, en visant d\u2019abord un horizon temporel de 6\u00a0heures. L\u2019approche de recherche a consid\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois les aspects techniques et op\u00e9rationnels, tels que l\u2019identification des besoins et le concept des op\u00e9rations, l\u2019\u00e9valuation des mod\u00e8les de convection, la conception et le d\u00e9ploiement d\u2019un produit R&amp;D de convection bas\u00e9 sur des mod\u00e8les. Des pr\u00e9visions d\u2019orages actualis\u00e9es et pr\u00e9cises sur l\u2019Europe \u00e0 l\u2019horizon de +6\u00a0heures, bas\u00e9es sur un algorithme multimod\u00e8les, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fournies sous forme de webservice SWIM au centre de Reims lors des sessions de validation technique et op\u00e9rationnelle en juin 2020.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019un point de vue op\u00e9rationnel, le tout premier objectif, qui visait \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019information m\u00e9t\u00e9o mise \u00e0 disposition des FMPistes, a \u00e9t\u00e9 atteint gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la fourniture en continu d\u2019informations pr\u00e9cises sur la convection, en phase avec l\u2019horizon temporel des processus ATFCM. Les sessions de validation ont \u00e9galement mis en \u00e9vidence la pertinence d\u2019un tel outil pour la d\u00e9finition de mesures de r\u00e9gulation avec 6\u00a0heures \u00e0 3\u00a0heures d\u2019anticipation, ce qui contribuerait \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des performances globales du r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019autres initiatives influant sur l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des mesures tactiques li\u00e9es aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques pourraient \u00eatre de prendre en compte des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes m\u00e9t\u00e9o autres que la convection et d\u2019\u00e9valuer \u00e0 l\u2019avance leur impact sur les op\u00e9rations de trafic a\u00e9rien. En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 ce challenge, METSAFE et FRACS ont lanc\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier le projet Weather Impact Prediction for ATM (WIPA). Cette initiative SESAR Engage viendrait en appui des prises de d\u00e9cision des FMPistes pendant la phase tactique, en fournissant des informations sur l\u2019impact des \u00e9v\u00e9nements m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques sur le trafic en route. Les contr\u00f4leurs FMP seraient alors en mesure de renforcer tr\u00e8s consid\u00e9rablement leur connaissance de la situation m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique et, ainsi, de d\u00e9finir des mesures de mitigation ou de r\u00e9gulation tactiques ad\u00e9quates.
