EXPERTISE AND AGILITY

AT THE SERVICE OF EFFICIENT AIR TRANSPORT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF AVIATION

France Aviation Civile Services is the civil aviation consultancy and expertise office founded by the Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile (DGAC) and the École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC).

France Aviation Civile Services’ value proposition is based on its consultants, who offer solutions tailored to customers’ challenges, while providing solid operational expertise with an agile and flexible approach.

In the fields of regulation, safety oversight, air navigation and airports, France Aviation Civile Services helps you to meet ICAO and EASA standards, improve operational performance and achieve strategic capacity-building objectives.

Air transport is facing up changes at various levels such as increasing recommendations on safety standards, the reorganization of traditional actors and a greater collaboration in operational management, the development of large airport hubs and the sharing of airspace with new activities such as drone and suborbital flights. These challenges are part of a balanced and sustainable performance objective, both economically and environmentally.

In response to these challenges, France Aviation Civile Services ensures its customer’s excellence and adaptability in the services delivered worldwide.

Our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) commitments

France Aviation Civile Services is committed to working to build a prosperous and sustainable world.

To do this, the GIE has built its CSR commitment around 5 pillars on which our ambitions and concrete actions are based.

Since 2019, the FRACS teams have been engaged in a dynamic CSR approach to act in the general interest: being a responsible corporate citizen.

The 5 pillars

in our profession as consultants, the impact of travel on emissions is critical, FRACS has therefore taken a series of measures to reduce its daily impact:

  • Teleworking Charter: built collectively with the teams, it allows all employees to work from home up to two days per week;
  • Adaptability: a wider time slot to allow everyone to organize themselves according to their needs and an arrangement of working time over 4.5 days, offering everyone a half-day off per week;
  • 100% reimbursement of public transport costs for all teams;
  • “Soft mobility” policy aimed at promoting the use of bicycles for home-work travel, via clear incentives: establishment of a bicycle subsidy & provision of secure parking spaces near the office.

entrusted to a service provider employing people with disabilities. Collection bins for plastic bottles, paper and coffee capsules have been placed in the company to allow everyone to simply sort their waste. The GIE has reduced waste linked to lunches taken in the office by providing washable cutlery, plates, trays and glasses.

which makes it possible to specify and formulate in a concrete manner the rules and behaviors to be respected in the context of our professions.

each employee has the possibility of requesting occupational medicine – the intervention of an occupational therapist every 3 years takes place to make employees aware of their position at the workstation. A “material” budget is allocated so that everyone can equip themselves according to their needs: foot rest; ergonomic mouse; keyboard, office chair, screen.

everyone must feel like a member of the team. A hiring procedure has been put in place to welcome all employees in the same way.

The word of the Director

At FRACS we recognize that climate change is one of the most important challenges of our time and that we all have a role to play. This is why we are committed to raising awareness among our employees about climate issues.

At FRACS, we are aware of the need to build a sustainable world. Aviation, in accordance with the preamble to the Chicago Convention, is a means of uniting people and contributing to a world of peace. Like all other modes of transport but also like many activities in our society, it contributes a small but significant part to global warming. FRACS, in all its activities, whether dedicated to the development of aviation or to the daily life of the company, takes into account the sustainability dimension of its activities.

This involves peaceful management of relationships within the company, the implementation of certain measures to encourage the use of public transport or non-polluting means of transport and a number of daily measures in the management of our resources.Everyone remains aware of the challenges of sustainable development and FRACS strives to maintain this awareness but also to manage social relations within the company in the most balanced way possible.Finally, in recent years we have developed increased know-how in our working methods to maintain an efficient relationship with our clients and partners by limiting travel without giving up the human contacts which remain the essence of any project.
