FRACS supports Frequentis for the deployment of ASECNA’s new AMHS system
France Aviation Civile Services has signed a contract with Frequentis Comsoft GmbH for the delivery of AMHS – Aeronautical Message handling System – operational training sessions for ASECNA, the Agency for Air Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar.
Aim is to train ASECNA trainers on the new AMHS System and to accompany them to be fully autonomous to train all ASECNA users on the new AIDA-NG Aeronautical Integrated Data Exchange Agent system, deployed by the INEO – Frequentis Comsoft consortium.
FRACS experts, in operation at CESNAC, the French Central Air Navigation Systems Operations Centre, trained 10 ASECNA trainers on site, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, before accompanying them in the operational configuration of the new system.
CESNAC is part of DSNA, the French Air Navigation Service Provider. CESNAC is responsible for implementing, operating and supervising DSNA systems. DSNA manages one of the busiest airspaces with 10,000 flights every day before COVID crisis.
The trainees especially appreciated to be accompanied by operational experts like them. Our trainers indeed actively contributed to AMHS implementation in DSNA and could also share their international experience, in particular in Algeria. A key success factor for a real transfer of skills!
Congratulations to the 1st promotion of ASCENA AMHS trainers! We wish ASECNA success for the deployment. And we look forward to continuing the project with the next training session planned in Cameroon mid October.
