ATD: Message from the Team

As we approach the end of 2025, a year full of renewal for our ATD department, our team continues to build on its commitment to delivering reliable and insightful air transport data. This quarter, our bulletin focuses on the main European traffic flows of 2024, featuring analyses drawn from our extensive historical databases. With over forty years of experience in the field of aviation data, our team collects, structures, and provides a diverse set of information covering international airlines, airports, fleets, passenger flows, movements, and more.

Beyond statistical production, we are pursuing several internal projects aimed at enhancing and modernizing our tools and methodologies. Among them, the development of an online data collector represents a key milestone: it will enable the integration of new data sources, ensure more reliable updates, and expand the range of analytical possibilities. The objective behind this initiative is to deliver more responsive information that is directly aligned with the needs of our users.

In the same spirit, we have reinforced our focus on Power BI, providing full training to our team to better support our partners in the visualization and interpretation of their key indicators. This effort reflects our broader goal of making data more accessible, more readable, and to ensure a modernized approach to our statistical resources.

Finally, this quarter also marks an important step in the consolidation of our historical databases. A portion of our team is currently working to enhance their completeness and reliability by cross-verifying multiple sources to ensure accuracy and improve overall consistency. These efforts will strengthen the usefulness and long-term value of our databases — the cornerstone of our publications.

We thank you for your continued trust and hope that this new edition of the ATD Quarterly Bulletin once again provides you with valuable insights into the latest trends in global air transport.
