2022 has been a year of challenges and new horizons for Air Transport Data!
Three years after the integration of our databases to France Aviation Civile Services, there is no time to rest on our achievements. The air transport world is an environment in full transformation in the light of recent events, and our services must evolve in line with its needs.
With those facts in mind, our database administrators have rethought the way they collect data to add new axes and variables to facilitate analysis from different perspectives. In addition to extending the effort of gathering, verifying and storing air traffic data already collected in the past, new granularities have been added to our information pool: notably a monthly monitoring of airports worldwide, as well as the addition of Movement and Cargo statistics to our Traffic Flow database.
In parallel, our ATD Analytics e-platform has also been enriched and continues to flourish since its launch thanks to a close collaboration between our partner Almaz Aviation and our ATD team. The addition of these new monthly and annual indicators as well as updated analysis modules did particularly allow more complete, broader and more precise studies.
This work and new functionalities within our Air Transport Data service during 2022 aimed at adapting our offer to the economic situation and the needs of our customers, but also supporting the various actors in the aviation world in their strategies in the context of the current recovery in air traffic.
With this increase in activity, the ATD team has welcomed a new member in the person of Théo CASTEX, sales representative for FRACS, to strengthen our commercial strategy and reach out to our customers.
2023 is already promising to be full of challenges, and we will strive to accompany and help the economic actors of aviation and aeronautics, for a sustainable and durable air traffic.
